Terrainy Studios has today, after a longer period of silence from them on the topic, taken to their Facebook page to share a new set of previews of their upcoming RV-8 rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Today, the interior of the aircraft was previewed for the first time. While the two of three previews focus on the cabin instruments, the third screenshot focuses on the aircraft propeller.
It was stressed by the developer to keep in mind, that the aircraft is still very much WIP (work in progress).
Additionally, the developer has announced with excitement, that the RV-8A Tricycle gear configuration will be part of the addon. It was not disclosed whether that will be available upon the initial release, or later on. More previews of this configuration were said to be shared in the next few days and weeks.
The RV-8 is an aerobatic, and agile aircraft, built by Van’s Aircraft. For its size, the cockpit is roomy and could easily accommodate two people seated in tandem. It has a top speed of 220mph.
