This enhanced airport takes what Microsoft has provided ‘out of the box’ and adds additional features and modifications. This includes:
- Adding static scenery items around gates and ramps at both domestic and international terminals
- Adding improved water masks around the 05R end of the runway
- Adding night lighting
- Replacing default buildings with others more appropriate
- Adding custom made NZAA Control Tower, Novotel and the Domestic Auckland sign
- Removing a large number of trees on both approaches and around the airport, and changing tree types in other areas to a more suitable type.
