A month and a half after the first preview, Carenado released today their rendition of the Piper PA44 Seminole. This is the third addon released by Carenado for the new platform. Up until now, the Seminole was sold and marketed by their Alabeo team.
The addon features high definition and PBR texturing and modeling, realistic flight model, custom sounds and animations as well as lighting, steam gauges, and integration of the default GNS 530 and autopilot.
The aircraft is available exclusively at the in-game Marketplace for the price of 29.99€.
The aircraft is an interesting addition to MSFS as it is the first twin-engine addon for the simulator. Moreover, the aircraft itself makes for a great multi-engine trainer due to its very friendly flying qualities. In fact, the minimum control airspeed, speed below which control is not possible with a loss of an engine, is only a know above the stall speed in landing configuration. Moreover, it is fully equipped for your IFR needs and has a very respectable 162knots cruise speed along with a 17 100ft service ceiling.
