[Simulator News] Orbx Releases Newcastle Airport for MSFS

Over a week after the release of Newcastle airport (EGNT) for X-Plane 11, Orbx has come out in a Facebook post today announcing that the scenery for Microsoft Flight Simulator is now available to be purchased.

Orbx shared in a Facebook post multiple screenshots of the scenery, while also sharing that their UK team has been hard at work producing Newcastle Airport and that they have taken attention to detail and have produced a high quality and detailed airport.

As usual with Orbx products, Newcastle airport features a highly detailed rendition of the airport as well as PBR texturing, high quality 3D modelling, custom ortho, and highly detailed GSE and static aircraft.

Newcastle Airport is located in the UK and serves the city of Newcastle with mostly domestic flights which connect the airport to the rest of Europe, as well as an international service to Dubai operated by Emirates. The airport saw five million passengers last year and was opened in 1935 as Woolsington Aerodrome.
