ToLiss just rolled out an update to their A321, it consists of a few new features and numerous bug fixes.
Let’s start with the new features, most of them relate to the NEO addon. The autopilot TCAS mode, as well as Soft Go Around mode, have been added, DDRMI is no more and the ECON FLOW switch has been replaced by a Pack Flow switch. Moreover, a few features have been added to the A321 base pack, the crew oxygen depletes as you breathe through the oxygen mask, Minimums and 100 above callouts have been added, and the oil quantity now decreases with the engine running, with it increasing again when the engine is stopped and oil accumulates in the sump.
Finally, for you painters, aircraft registration and SELCAL are now in a separate object, “selcal.obj” in order to easily adapt the registration to custom liveries.
When it comes to the numerous bug fixes, most relate to the NEO addon. First, the sounds have been adjusted, with the crackling sound being reduced, while the whale and external startup sound for the PWG has been improved. PW Dual Cooling starting cycle has been corrected, the dry cranking sequence of the LEAP has been added, and the availability of the engine parameters on your ENG page on the ECAM now depends on the FADEC as this data doesn’t pass through the SDAC anymore (unlike the CEO). Finally, the NEO deflects the ailerons up with ground spoilers independent of the Florence Kit.
For the base pack, the nosewheel now animates correctly with Better Pushback, Rollout mode only disengage when leaving the runway, Aural Alert volume doesn’t reset to full anymore, wipers volume blends with cockpit sounds slider, and a few 3D model fixes. Finally, now, unless in SRS mode, managed speed cannot be less than Green Dot, or F-Speeds, regardless of flight plan constraints, as in the real aircraft.
The update can be downloaded either by using X-Updater or by downloading the new files from the store of your purchase. If you don’t own the aircraft yet, you can purchase it through the X-Plane.org Store for approximately €65. The NEO addon costs about €25 and can be as well purchased through the X-Plane.org Store.

- Availability of ENG data on SD page depends on FADEC for NEO engines (on CEO engines, these pass directly through SDAC, on NEO they pass through FADEC)
- Aural alert volume does not reset to full on its own anymore.
- Added dry cranking sequence to LEAP engine
- Nosewheel animation deflects correctly now when using better pushback
- Unless in SRS mode, managed speed target cannot be less than green dot/s-speed or f-speed anymore even if there are flight plan constraints requesting less – it’s the same in real life.
- 3d model fixes.
- Reduced crackling sound on NEO engines, improved whale and external startup sound for the PWG engines
- Windshield wiper volume now blends with cockpit sounds slider as it should.
