[Simulator News] LatinVFR Previews Madrid Barajas Airport for MSFS

Serving the capital city of Spain, Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (LEMD) is considered the second-largest airport in Europe by physical size and sixth busiest by passenger traffic.

LatinVFR has today taken to their Facebook page to share the first set of previews of the airport in the new simulator. The previews are showcasing the airport itself as well as the city of Madrid enhanced with custom landmarks and buildings.

All previews shared can be seen below. There is not much we know in matter of the features as there was no information shared on that note. We hope to receive more information from the developers as they progress closer to the release.

The release date, as well as the expected price, were not mentioned in the post. We were however reassured, that existing owners of the Prepar3D version of the scenery will be eligible to a discount. About the release date, it was only said: “Coming soon“.

Madrid Airport, or better known as the Adolfo Suárez Madrid–Barajas Airport, is located 9km from Madrid’s financial district. It is Europe’s sixth busiest airport, and Spain’s most used. It covers an area of 7,500 acres, making it only second to Charles de Gaulle, in terms of size of airports in Europe.
