New regions of World Updates are released every few months. These free updates feature high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for prominent cities, an upgraded digital elevation model across the country, and highly detailed hand-crafted local airports. Players will also be able to try their hand at executing new exciting flight missions.

World Update 4: France & Benelux is expected to be released on April 13. As of now, we know that it’s featuring high-resolution 3D photogrammetry for cities of Paris and Amsterdam, an improved digital elevation model as accurate as 5 meters to France, a total of 100 point-of-interest (in France, Belgium, Netherlands, and Luxembourg), several hand-crafted airports (Nice Côte d’Azur Airport, Rotterdam The Hague Airport, and Megève Altiport), and new flight missions. Usually, every World Update includes fixes for the in-sim as well, but the full release notes are shown not earlier than when the MSFS downloads the update.
