PMDG, a very well-known aircraft developer within the flight simulation community, has just a few moments ago taken to their Facebook page to share a new, single, preview of their up-and-coming Douglas DC-6 rendition for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
The development of the aircraft for the new platform was first announced even before the simulator was first released to the public. On the other hand, while it was announced a while ago, it was only previewed once ever since, about two months ago.
The single preview showcases the aircraft at cruise during the day. Although it was not confirmed by the developer, it looks like the aircraft exterior is almost done.
Unfortunately, no new information was revealed in regards to the expected release date and pricing model. Other than the DC-6, PMDG should be alongside as well working on bringing their Boeing 737 rendition to the new platform, which is currently planned to be released in late 2021 or in the first quarter of 2022.
